What are you as of January 2009 (SAHM/WAHM/WOHM etc.), and are you happy with it?
Any plans to change it too? I’ve been struggling with the “are you happy with it?” part of the question myself lately. I’m a SAHM/WAHM combo, meaning that I’m a WAHM for the two days of the week that my younger son is in preschool, but my work bleeds over into several other days a week also. I’m happy about being a mostly-SAHM, but wish the work part was a bit more fulfilling, and that it didn’t take up so much of my other days at home with the little guy. I’m not good at boundaries, so it’s always a challenge there. I’ve also admitted to myself recently (and now you all) that I’m addicted to the internet. I use it for entertainment, work, research, distractions, relationships, and pretty much anything else you can think of. I think that’s another post however! As for my work situation, I love the mix that I have, and hope to get better at keeping the boundaries straight this year!
SO, what role does “work for money” take in your life, and are you happy/sad/resigned/wishful/thankful or all of the above about it? Does the year hold any changes in your situation that you’re aware of?
