Winners!!

It’s a little belated for one of these, but here we go …

Thanks to Carley from Mothercraft, and her awesome Power Hour giveaway, the winner was … Erin Baebler!  Congrats Erin, and thanks again to Carley:).   Hope you two have a great and productive hour, and please let us know how it goes!

Next up we have the Question of the Week about favorite games, which was answered by a whopping four of you, though two answers weren’t on the blog so can’t be technically counted :(.  I didn’t say how many entries we needed, so that leaves an eenie-meenie-miney-moe sort of deal (though I did actually write out two slips of paper and toss them around!) giving us … Martha as the winner!  Congrats Martha, shoot me an email and I’ll get your incense burners out to you asap :).  And please tell us what Boomtown is also, I’ve never heard of it?

Thanks for the great answers!

Loved all the feedback on How Many Kids question … some great stories!!  I never did answer the question myself, but that’s probably because I have no answers … just the question.   Conceptually (sorry bad pun) I want more, but the reality is still questionable.  Is two boys the very best thing for us?  I don’t have a clue, so will keep wondering, asking my dh, and being on the fence every time I see a brand new baby in someone elses arms.  Until I stop wondering, which day I’m sure will come.

Thanks for sharing!

Last Week's Question ...

Hi Moms,

Happy Day-after-mother’s-day!  I was too busy enjoying my own day to post, bad as that is for a Moms site!  Hope the day was awesome, stay tuned to tell me how in the next post :).

We didn’t, alas, have enough entries to pick a winner last week.  There were three answers to the question, thanks achildgrows, erin, and cindyd!  Appreciate the thoughts, you can read them here

No winner this week ...

Not to be a stickler, but we didn’t have 5 entries by the deadline :(. Thanks to those of you who answered though, and I’d still love to hear from more of you!

I’d also love some quick feedback, just leave me a comment below if you would please …

  • Would you rather have the deadline be sunday night?
  • Better prizes but only once a month?
  • Two weeks per question?
  • Make you answer it in 48 hours, because othewise you’ll forget?
  • Different questions, such as …

Thanks!

I winked at the fact that a couple posts were from the same person, and did a very fancy drawing that gave us Erin Hattaway as the winner, congrats Erin!  Please let me know what size top you want, and if you prefer a T or a tank.   Thanks to you all for playing along and giving your lunch ideas!

You can read them all here.  We did pepperoni/cheese/crackers on the porch for lunch today, and it was lovely.  The absolutely perfect weather helped also :).

No winner this week

Hey ladies, thanks to the four of you who answered last week’s question about What ‘time’ do you live in?  Good to know I’m not the only future-dweller :).  Still working on living in and enjoying the present.  Any tips on how to enjoy taxes?  Please share!

My spring break plans got chucked out the window this morning, so I’ll not be getting out of town after all.  Kind of knew it wasn’t going to happen this week, just praying it works out in the next couple of weeks for me to go see my grandma … one of my absolutely favorite people in this world and she’s going to be 93 in August.

Hope your easter was good, ours ended up to be very low-key with a backyard easter egg hunt using shoe-box baskets, and a dinner out with my aunt and uncle.  So very glad for resurrection, for sun, and for the spring that is almost almost here!

I was caught this morning while trying to catch a few extra zzzs, this boy here was busy eating chocolate eggs as fast and as quietly as he could!  Stinker :).

Great SaneMom spotlight coming up, and that newsletter to get out, so stay tuned!

We have a winner!

Thanks to everyone who answered the When was the last time you asked for help? Question last week!  There were some really great responses, and I don’t feel like I’m the only one who has trouble with it anymore :).

The official drawing was done on slips of paper, tossed in my husband’s hat, and the winner was … Guest :).  There was only one guest poster, so please, let me know who you are (no cheating!) and I’ll get that scarf sent off to you!

Thanks to all for participating, read everyone’s answers here.

We have a winner!

Thanks a ton to all of you who weighed in on the sleep question, I appreciate the feedback.  The comment that got me the most was the one about even full nights of sleep not seeming like enough because you’re playing catch-up for the missed sleep on other nights.  SO true, no matter how much you get regularly!

Anyhow, without further ado, the winner of the batch of cookies is …. CindyD!  Congrats CindyD … please let me know if you have any allergies, etc, before I bake and send :).  Thanks to everyone who played!

Thanks to all of you who added your regrets to the bonfire! So nice to have a little company in my ceremonial burning :).

SaneMom Kozoji won the draw this time (little slips of paper this time, DrawStraws isn’t working anymore), and is the winner of a blog/web banner design, or retouched old photograph, her choice! Congrats kozoji, please let me know what you’d like to claim and I’ll get cracking on it!

Thanks to all of the great answers this week! So cool to find out the source of your kids’ names, drool over new recipes, and find out how you handle post-baby romance. I enjoyed them all :). Everyone who answered* got a single entry, but special thanks to those who answered more than one!

Wolfhuntress2002
drew the short straw, congrats! Your prize will be a $20 gift certificate to Scrapbook and Such for some new scrapbooking goodies! Enjoy :)

*If you won the previous week’s drawing though, you’re not eligible for the next one

We Have a Winner!

Thanks to everyone who answered the question last week about resolutions for 2009! It’s great to see what everyone’s planning to get done … I can’t wait to see how it all turns out! SaneMoms member Cmaitz drew the short straw, and wins $20 towards her goal. Congrats Cmaitz, just let me know how you want to spend or get your prize!

We have a winner!!

I promised this announcement Friday, and didn’t deliver, sorry about that!  Here we finally are with the contest results from the SaneMom Birthday contest

I decided to go low-tech this time and had a lot more fun :)

Remember the prize was a hand-bound journal and a voucher for 4 Free Individual Coaching sessions with me, the SaneMom Coach.

The names were all written on slips of paper, and Fynn obliged by being my name-drawer.  He drew one slip of paper out, and then waved it around and made it almost impossible for me to get a picture of it ….

Congratulations Ashnate0505!

If you can email me your address asap (or the name/address of whoever you want to get the prize), I’ll get the package out to you!

Happy Holidays to you all, may they be joyful, comforting, blessed, and calm!

We Have a new winner!

We have a new winner!

Last week, SaneMoms member CindyD won the drawing for the prize, but asked me to redraw a new winner as she’s already got the book, and on a chocolate-free diet (you have my sympathy and admiration!).

So, I did a new drawing and Nates Mom won the copy of The Book for People Who Do Too Much AND a bar of the best chocolate I can find!   She drew the short straw this time … Congrats Nates Mom, and if you let me know your dark/light chocolate preference and your address, I’ll get that out to you asap :).  Happy reading and munching!  Thanks to all who shared their fears with us, it was great reading.
