ooh, the possibilities ...

The cold decided to stay at bay, probably because of the cocktail of herbs and pills my husband gave me before nodding off to sleep. I had stayed up looking up apartments, and the effort gave Michael a list of places to call today. The first place that called him back made an appointment for tonight, so we walked down there after a very rushed dinner. Certainly NOT the neighborhood we live in now, but not the ghetto, just not all that nice :) But not bad either ... three unit building on a corner, about 100 yards from the subway (big plus) and lots of windows (another big plus). All 3 are empty and the one most workable is a crazy mishmash of rooms (divided up in weird ways) but is a true 3 bedroom so works so that I could have my own little office with a bow window :) The delightful part is it's lower rent (definitely a plus at the moment) and still workable for Douglas' current sitter, Michael's drawing classes, and easy trains to manhattan. Now to convince the current landlord to break our lease :) We shall see :) and I really do love moving. Seriously ... it's work but it's fun to throw away, pare down, rearrange, and settle in new spaces. And this landlord doesn't care if we paint walls ... something we both love to do. We shall see!
