Q of the Week : What kind of planner do you use?

I know it’s Thursday, and the newsletter won’t go out till Monday now, but it’s a good excuse to talk about planners, no?  I might need a little help …

I just switched from a DayTimer to a Moleskine planner this year, and I couldn’t be happier.  Once I was out of the office and not doing as many appointments/coaching sessions, my days became less structured and the DayTimer just wasn’t cutting it.  I’d relied on my Mozilla Thunderbird Calendar, and still do for reminders etc, but I’m loving the wee notebook/datebook version of the Moleskine.  It’s paper, which I’m addicted to despite the digital wave of things, it’s small and fits in my purse, keeps my to-do lists next to the date they’re for, and has a tiny pocket in the back for stamps and such.  I simply love it.  It must be accompanied by a mechanical pencil, or all is lost, because you have to have the right implement for putting stuff on paper.

So, what do you rely on for keeping track of things?  I’m assuming it’s a combo of things, and I’d love to know what you use, and why if you feel like sharing.  Thanks!
