What’s happened to your marketability as an employee?
Even if you don’t currently work, this one’s for you. Things
have changed, haven’t they? I certainly felt the difference when I
went to work full-time for 18 months, in between my two kids births. I
found it to be a benefit actually, but that was because I was a
contractor, not a full employee, and they were willing to work around
my availability despite the fact that all the others in the office (an
ad agency) were required to work nights/weekends pretty often.
